For autistic people, it can be important to learn some rules on how to act in social situations. We wondered if the book of Proverbs could help with this? We'd love to read any ideas you have around this, or examples where the Proverbs have helped you learn social rules.
One example might be Proverbs 10v19:
"When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent." (ESV)
A social rule from this might be: it is ok not to talk all the time. It can even be sensible to hold back from talking. This can allow room for others to speak, and can even be helpful if you are unsure what you should be saying.
